Life Is Not Meant to Be a Solo Journey

There are times in life where we will need to be carried by others, both metaphorically and literally.  It's essential to have someone to lean on during these times of life.

It's important to have a Higher Power to help do this. But we still need tangible support, friends to be there for us along the way. Life isn't meant to be lived alone; and recovery is DEFINITELY not meant to be a solo journey.

"Few indeed are those who, assailed by the tyrant alcohol, have ever won through in single-handed combat. It is a statistical fact that alcoholics almost never recover on their personal resources alone."

Today, we want to challenge you to be the kind of friend that you want to have- supportive, thoughtful, encouraging, and understanding. Be there for someone, and be willing to help carry them through their difficult time. Don't let them go through it alone.

A friend
