The Program
“Quantum
Economics at the Dawn of the Akashic Age” is a program about the dawn of a new age: the Akashic
Age. Moving toward the Akashic Age means leaving behind an old era predicated
on a century and a half of unprecedented growth, competition, and selfish
drive. We can never go back from this point in time, as there is no world to go
back to. It no longer exists – it has been transformed while we have been
living in it. The new Akashic models that we can assist in birthing are ones
that embrace the finer connections of conscious communication, collaboration,
and service to others. These are models that focus less on consumption of goods
and more on information, knowledge skills, support, guidance, and the exchange
of services without monetary transaction.

Agenda
Meeting 1:
Introduction
This program
heralds the dawn of what is called the Akashic Age. The Akasha is the
fundamental dimension of the world, a dimension that has been rediscovered at
the cutting edge of contemporary physics and cosmology. The new sciences, based
on the physics of the quantum, show us that a world that is highly connected
and integrated more decentralized, technologically advanced, more sustainably
balanced, and nonlocally interconnected has scientific validity. The
realization that all things, and not only supersmall quantum things, are entangled,
that is, instantly interconnected, is set to change our values and aspirations,
and the very way we think and act in the world. It may hold the key to our own
well-being, and the survival of the whole human community.
Meeting 2:
How We Became Sapiens
We begin with
Part 1, “Our Path to the Akashic Age”. In this meeting we examine briefly the
evolutionary journey of Homo sapiens sapiens and how we have arrived at our
current stage. We ask the question “What next?” In a world that is complex and
interdependent, making considered choices is not easy. It calls for thinking
and acting in a global context, with a long time horizon. Will we make the
right choices? This is the ultimate question.
Meeting 3:
Dilemmas at the Turning Point
We discuss the
dilemmas that now face us as we stand at a historical turning point. The
complexity of our various global societies is such that we now find ourselves
reaching the peak of a phase in our growth. We are approaching a new epoch: a
planetary epoch.
Meeting 4:
Shifting Our Values and Beliefs
We enter Part 2,
“At the Threshold of the Akashic Age”. Today we look at how we can shift our
values and beliefs. In the new age we need a new thinking. This new thinking
will not emerge all at once. It will come about – and is already coming about –
as contemporary thinking is increasingly questioned. There is a step before we
can embrace new ideas: it is to put the old on trial.
Meeting 5:
The Rise of Quantum Resonance
Science is a
principal factor underlying credibility in the modern world. If it is
“scientific”, it is true, or it is likely to be true for its time. The basic
tenets on which the new thinking rests, need to be understood and given
credence. We introduce the background to the new quantum science that underlie
the Akashic paradigm and that fosters qualities of coherence and quantum
resonance. The challenge is to call attention to the view of the world emerging
at science’s cutting edge. This view could inform people’s thinking and guide
their steps. It has unparalleled and as yet largely unrecognized relevance to
our life and times.
Meeting 6:
A Closer Look at the Akashic Dawn
Our vision for
an Akashic Age must address the fact that we cannot continue along the way we
have been going. In order to resolve the difficulties in our contemporary
world, our global societies need to put in place issues regarding new forms of
energy sources and global communications. Our vision of the years ahead
involves a lot of ground shifting. This period of uncertainty and unsettlement
we are going through is the preparatory effort that lays the groundwork for a
new model to come into being. Fortunately, our global expansion has been
accompanied by an expansion of our awareness and empathy, epiphany. We have now
arrived at a new crossroads in our civilization journey.
Meeting 7:
The Need For A New Economics
We enter Part 3,
“An Introduction to Quantum Economics”. The new era of the Akashic Age is
really time for a new way of thinking. A
paradigm shift from the material-based science of the ever expanding view of
the economy, to a new consciousness-based science of economics. We see this new
economics as a natural evolution of capitalism that Adam Smith developed in the
18th century. The message of the quantum worldview when applied to
economics is simple: There is a new and right direction for our economics and
our economy. Quantum economics is an extension of Adam Smith’s capitalism in
the right direction. It makes room once more for both mind and matter in the
economic arena, only this time in an integrated scientific way.
Meeting 8:
An Outline of the New Paradigm (A)
Scientific
materialism denies the concepts of a nonmaterial causally potent consciousness
and other nonmaterial worlds within it. Quantum physics unleashes the creative
causal power of the individual human being by embedding it within a universal
higher consciousness. It allows us to develop a viable science of consciousness
that includes all of our experiences, including the subtle. There is also a
shift of biological thinking about our physical body. Where should this
paradigm shift lead us for the society at large, in particular, in the field of
economics where the need for change is most urgent? A quantum economics within
the primacy of consciousness, or in short, the quantum economics of
consciousness.
Meeting 9:
An Outline of the New Paradigm (B)
How do you think
of money? Having grown up in a worldview where the material world and
spirituality are seen as oppositional, many of us perceive the energy of money
as negative. The new economics forces us to think of money in a new way. In the
new economics there is economic value for not only material goods but also
subtle goods, even happiness, therefore money will represent both material and
subtle values that include the spiritual. We now have the science, the know-how
for the production of subtle quantities, even happiness. If money is allowed to
buy happiness, what happens to the energy of money? It changes. Money becomes
consecrated. In order to implement the new economics we have to change our
worldview from the two poles of religions and materialist worldview prevalent
today to the integrative worldview of science within consciousness. The subtle
economy will provide us the growth engine for businesses in the 21 century.
Vital energy technology will be the business frontier of the 21 century.
Meeting 10:
How QE Solves the Problem of the Business Cycle
Today we examine
all the important ramifications of the new economics: how it solves the problem
of the business cycle, how it explains the mystery of the free market, and how
it can avert all future economic meltdown.
Meeting 11:
How Businesses and Consumers Are
Changing in Synch with the Movement of Consciousness (A)
There are
movements in business practices that are in synch with the evolutionary
movement of consciousness. There is an eco-friendliness that is trendy. Some
businesses have begun to care about the ecosystem; they want to reduce
environmental pollution, and they want to deploy sustainable sources of energy.
Today we talk about this and how to take it further in the spirit of the
quantum economics of not only consciousness but also of integral well-being.
Meeting 12:
How Businesses and Consumers Are Changing in Synch with the Movement of
Consciousness (B)
The challenge
now is to develop the ability of rising up, at least when the occasion demands,
to positive feelings, meanings, and intuitions that are not already wired in
the brain. The immediate challenge is to, first, shift from information to
meaning, and second, shift from the tyranny of the instinctual brain circuits of
emotion to the visceral experience of feelings. We can shift the
emphasis from negativity to meaningfulness and positivity as we adapt to
capitalism under a quantum economics. Today we will talk about his. We will
also talk about globalization and outsourcing. Many economists present them as
evil, while others accept them as inevitable. Here we show that these are
movements quite in synch with the evolutionary movement of consciousness:
naturally, they are huge openings toward deploying quantum economics.
Meeting 13:
Implementation: When and How?
How will the
quantum economics of consciousness replace capitalism? When? The economics of
consciousness may sound good, but how is it going to be implemented? The
economics of consciousness is inevitable for implementation because our society
needs it. It is the need of the workplace, the businesses that will enable the
economics of consciousness to replace the current materialism-influenced
capitalism. And there is evidence that business is already changing its ways.
Meeting 14:
Preparing the Mindset for the New Economics (A)
So finally,
let’s get down and dirty: What is the plan of action to usher in the new
economic mind-set among first, the consumers, and second, business investors
and professionals – the producers? The first issue for you is to wake up to the
importance of your own subtle well-being, subtle health really, as a consumer
and/or as a producer. The challenge now to both businesses and consumers of the
subtle is to develop the ability of rising up to positive feelings, meanings,
and intuitions that are not already wired in the brain. The immediate challenge
to the consumers in this age of cell phones and digital messaging is to first,
shift from information to meaning, and second, shift from the tyranny of the
instinctual brain circuits of emotion to the visceral experience of feelings.
Meeting 15:
Preparing the Mindset for the New Economics (B)
A major
influence of the materialist attitude of money having intrinsic value was the
creation of economic transactions completely devoid of normal economic
transactions of production and consumption. This has the disastrous
consequences that most money transactions in the exchange market today are
devoid of any meaningful connection to the goods and services economy; instead,
they are speculative, resembling gambling in a global casino. We have to change
the energy of money. As you get into the subtle economics and venture into
subtle business still using money in your transactions, you will find that the
energy of money will no longer seem incompatible with the energies of love.
When your money brings you closer to wholeness via investments in happiness,
your money acquires sacred energy.
Meeting 16:
Expansion of the Economy in the Subtle Arena: The Beginnings (A)
If you are
inclined toward science, this is the time to consider exploring it outside the
scientific materialism and in a brand new direction. The new science has opened
the arena of the subtle to scientific and technological exploration. It is the
subtle technology where the winds of change are working their way to social
recognition and eventual acceptance at large of the new paradigm.
Meeting 17:
Expansion of the Economy in the Subtle Arena: The Beginnings (B)
As we engage in
economic activism, it becomes clear that we have to bring back meaning
processing as the centerpiece of human societal and cultural institutions
because evolution demands it. The new paradigm of consciousness-based science
is good news for everyone except the people with a job-related interest in
scientific materialism or religion. Now that the materialist worldview has lost
its validity, no longer will attract big investments on research and a quantum
competition for the Newtonian monopolies of higher education will be created.
The case of religions is similar to the case of the institutions of higher
education except that they enjoy a monopoly on the business of processing
spirituality.
Meeting 18:
Expansion of the Economy in the Subtle Arena: The Beginnings (C)
Today we
complete Quantum Economics with the expansion of the economy in the sectors of
Psychology and Health and Healing. Quantum psychology – the psychology of
consciousness that is the basis of our business paradigm – integrates all
disparate psychological approaches into one coherent paradigm based on one set
of fundamental metaphysical assumptions – those of the quantum worldview and
science within consciousness. There is a revolution in how we treat mental
health, how we practice academic psychology and how we practice religion.
The production
of human capital, that is, psychologically mature people, the kind that result
from an explicitly quantum exploration of the archetypes and embodiment of
them, is of utmost importance. These will be the teachers of the new
educational institutions. There are also some very remarkable possible business
applications of these people.
In the Economics
of Consciousness where both the material and subtle dimensions are recognized
and treated, health and healing are practiced through integrative medicine,
that is, the mainstream conventional medicine as well as many side streams
collectively called alternative or complementary medicine. People already use
both with varying degrees of success in their quest for healing.
Meeting 19:
Building the World of 2030
We enter Part 4,
“The World in 2030”. Now we take a big step: we go from vision to reality. Of
course, the reality we go to is an anticipatory reality; the big step calls for
a fast-forward to 2030. Doing this is a useful exercise. It is an exercise not
in utopian thinking, but in a realistic envisioning of the world we could
build – that is, we took into consideration the problems as well as the
opportunities that confront the world after 2012.
Meeting 20:
The Pillars of a New Consciousness
Today we take a
look at the younger generations that are emerging rapidly, who, according to
educators, therapists and social workers exhibit sharp and insightful patterns
of thinking. They arrived already hardwired for change. Over the next few
decades this hyperaware generation will grow, develop, and eventually seed the
transformational change on the planet. This change will usher in a new society.
That is why we call the new generation the Phoenix Generation. It will rise
from the ashes of the old systems.
Some final
