The Akashic Records – or Book of Life – is the
storehouse of all information for every individual who has ever lived upon the
earth, containing every word, deed, feeling, thought, and intent that has ever
occurred.

Records, from the clairvoyant work of the renowned Christian mystic, Edgar
Cayce.
For
forty-three years of his adult life, Edgar Cayce possessed the ability to lie
down on a couch, close his eyes, fold his hands over his stomach, and put
himself into some kind of an altered state in which virtually any type of
information was available.
The Edgar
Cayce readings suggest that each of us writes the story of our lives through
our thoughts, our deeds, and our interactions with the rest of creation. This
information has an effect upon us in the here and now. In fact, the Akashic
Records have such an impact upon our lives and the potentials and probabilities
we draw toward us that any exploration of them cannot help but provide us with
insights into the nature of ourselves and our relationship to the universe.
There is
much more to our lives, our histories, and our individual influence upon our
tomorrows than we have perhaps dared to imagine. By accessing information from
the Akashic Records, much might be revealed to us.

Meeting 1. Introduction
The
computer has transformed the planet. No segment of modern society has gone
unaffected. The amount of information now stored in computer memory and
crossing the internet highway daily is literally unfathomable.
The Akashic
Records or “The Book of Life” can be likened to the universe’s supercomputer system.
More than just a reservoir of events, the Akashic Records contain every deed,
word, feeling, thought, and intent that has occurred at any time in the history
of the world. These Akashic Records are interactive; they have a tremendous influence upon our everyday lives,
our relationships, our feelings and belief systems, and the potentials and
probabilities we draw toward us.
Meeting 2. The Past
According
to Edgar Cayce, it is possible for individuals to attune to the Akashic Records
in the same manner that a radio could be built to tune in to radio waves. An
individual in attunement can “hear”, “read”, and “experience” the information.
The Akashic Records of the mental world might be compared to a movie theater of
the physical world. This movie could be replayed in an effort to understand
what had occurred in an individual’s experience in any period, at any time, or
while in any place in history.
A logical
question might be: Just what is the purpose of the Akashic Records in the first
place? Simply put, the answer is to keep track of and assist with each soul’s
personal growth and transformation.
In order to
understand Edgar Cayce’s perception of the records, we discuss what might be
termed “the Cayce Cosmology”.
Meeting 3. Recognizing Insights from Your Own Past
After
acquiring the records for the individual in question, Cayce would discuss
“astrological influences” that seemed relevant in the individual’s life. Unique
in its approach, the readings by Cayce offered an interesting look at how
astrology and the soul were somehow connected.
From
Cayce’s perspective, every individual was very much an integral portion of the
whole. Ultimately, the purpose of each lifetime was to undergo experiences
which would enable the soul to become more in tune with its divine origins.
Whether or not that ideal was actually achieved became a matter of free will,
but regardless of the specific lifetime, the opportunity for soul growth was
ever present.
Since each
individual is the sum total of all of his or her previous experiences,
fragments of past-life memories frequently come to the surface in everyday
life. In addition to dreams, there is a very strong correlation between the
imagination and one’s intuition. Unusual ideas or thoughts that come from out
of the blue may be accurate psychic impressions from the Akashic Records.
In addition
to watching one’s dreams and spontaneous imaginative experiences, methods of
obtaining information from the Akashic Records about one’s past may include
hypnosis, getting a personal psychic reading, and personal reveries.

Although
any historical period in history can be chosen, this particular reverie
explores ancient Egypt. You will observe experiences you lived in Egypt of long
ago.
